Doc Wily began DJing in East Point, Atlanta. He believed that the art of hip-hop had the power to inspire the world. That’s why we started our business: to help bring the city and community together through music.
DDoc formed 285 with two of his high school classmates at North Clayton High School in College Park, on the south side of Atlanta. 285's first album, Lyrical Traffic, went on to sell 100,000 records. The album featured Kujo Goodie from the Goodie Mob and included contributions from super producer Midnight Black and a host of others.
After the group parted ways, Doc Wily continued as a passionate artist and creative with a unique perspective on the culture, aiming to make the world a more beautiful and inspiring place. He has dedicated his life to music and the city of Atlanta. His newest business venture is Shropshire Investments, where they are buying distressed homes in communities across Atlanta.
